KNOW YOU DON’T NEED TO BE FIXED

The Straight Scoop

You’ve masked, over-functioned, adapted—and still felt like something wasn’t working. That doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means you’re wired differently. And that deserves support that’s built around you.

With a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach, I help you understand how your sensitivity, lived experiences, and nervous system shape the way you move through the world—so you can stop second-guessing yourself and start living with more clarity and self-trust.

This isn’t about fixing who you are. It’s about creating a life that meets your needs, honors your strengths, and supports your healing—so you can feel steady, empowered, and more like yourself.

The Sensitive Workplace Check-Up

The Sensitive Workplace Initiative helps organizations see sensitivity and neurodivergence as strengths—not liabilities. Through a research-backed, trauma-informed process, I provide tailored feedback and clear steps for improving

psychological safety, communication, and emotional well-being across teams. For individuals, Vocational Fit Check-Ups help assess if your current role supports your nervous system—and what to do if it doesn’t.

I am a licensed therapist for residents of North Carolina. My office is located in Raleigh-Durham, and I also meet with clients virtually. My practice covers a variety of specialities—mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, and trauma, to name a

few. Treatments vary from DBT to EMDR, Brainspotting to TFCBT and are tailored accordingly. Please connect with me via my therapy practice website, which you can access via the link in this column.
